10,000 Maniacs featuring Mary Ramsey Cancel Remaining Shows in 2022

(BUFFALO, NY) -- 10,000 Maniacs featuring Mary Ramsey regretfully announce the cancelation of their remaining tour dates for 2022 on their "40th Anniversary" tour due to illness in the band.  The canceled shows include: October 1, The Center for The Arts, Buffalo, NY; October 20, Belly Up, San Diego, CA; October 21, Fremont Theatre, San Luis Obispo, CA;  October 22, Bankhead Theatre, Livermore, CA; October 28, The Birchmere, Alexandria, VA; October 29, Tally Ho, Leesburg, VA; October 30, Ram's Head On Stage, Annapolis, MD; and November 10, The Vogel, Red Bank, NJ

The band issued the following statement.  "Family and health should always come first.  Due to some challenges, the band will be taking the rest of 2022 off from touring and hope to resume in 2023. We apologize to our fans and to the venues for any inconvenience this may cause them but we must follow the advice of doctors. Patrons will be contacted by their local venues with further information. We would ask that our privacy is respected at this time, and thank everyone involved for their support and understanding."

10,000 Maniacs with Mary Ramsey comprises Mary Ramsey (lead vocals/viola), Steven Gustafson (bass),  Dennis Drew (keyboards/vocals), John Lombardo (guitar), Jeff Erickson (lead guitar) and Jerome Augustyniak (drums).
