originally published: 07/19/2022

(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- As the 2022 season of Main Stage performances and young audience series productions continues, Music Mountain Theatre also offers additional special events for all to enjoy this summer.

Looking to the theatre's next season, the annual MMT Game night will take place on Sunday, July 31 at 7:00pm.  Some theatre companies announce their season with a brochure. Some unveil theirs online. At Music Mountain Theatre, they tantalizingly reveal one title at a time in an all-out, audience participation encouraged, evening full of cheeky game show style skits like Wheel of Fortune, Pictionary, and Match Game. Join them for a night that is almost as entertaining as the season itself and be the first to learn which shows they hope to present for their upcoming 2023 season!  The winner of the MMT fishbowl fundraiser will also be announced at this annual event! Tickets for the evening are just $10 in person at the box office or on the theatre’s website.

In August, prepare ye for the timeless tale of friendship, loyalty and love based on the Broadway musical that inspired a generation performed by members of Music Mountain Theatre’s resident Junior company members! Boasting a score with chart-topping songs, Godspell JR. is a sensation that continues to touch audiences.  The Jr. Company performances will take place on August 2 at 8:00pm and August 3 at 3:00pm & 8:00pm.  Tickets are $15.

August 14th at 7:00pm, join Jim Schubin, Joan Schubin, Bridgette Gan and Scott Johnson for a wonderful evening of songs!  Jim's credits include 1st prize in the International Lotte Lenya Singing Competition, the first National Tour of The Sound of Music, and more than a year starring Off-Broadway as Matt in the longest running musical of all time, The Fantasticks.  Joan has been performing in the NJ area since the age of 7. Some of her favorite roles include Mary Poppins, Polly in Crazy for You, and Marian in The Music Man.  Tickets for this special one-night concert event are $20.
