7th Annual Roselle House Music Festival

(ROSELLE, NJ) -- Back after a two-year hiatus, it's the 7th Annual Roselle House Music Festival!  The festival returns to historic Warinanco Park for a one-day family-friendly electronic dance music celebration of New Jersey's soulful homegrown brand of deep house music. Enjoy dance and food with their vendors. Join Mayor Donald Shaw, the Roselle Borough Council and the Roselle Department of Recreation for the 2022 Roselle House Music Festival on Saturday, July 9, 2022 live in beautiful Warinanco Park from 11:00am to 10:00pm. Co-sponsored by the Union County Board of County Commissioners. 

Hear a myriad of music from DJs including Mcee Ras Wiggins, JusTheDJ, DJ Chill X, Conway Kasey, Nunu Rox, Mark Francis, Crue Paris, and Dj Wakeel - with sign language by Zaykeya Coles!

Vending opportunities are available; applications accepted until June 24, 2022.

Warinanco Park is located at 1 Park Drive in Roselle, New Jersey.

James Black was a New Orleans-based jazz drummer, little known outside of the Crescent City. James Carroll Booker III was called the "piano prince of New Orleans." Harold Battiste was a reedist and composer who worked closely with such artists as Ellis Marsalis, Sam Cooke, and Dr. John.

McCarter Theatre presents The Crossing on Tuesday

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, three-time Grammy Award-winning chamber choir The Crossing will perform David Lang's poor hymnal at Richardson Auditorium on the Princeton University campus. Presented by McCarter Theatre, this performance explores themes of community, responsibility, and connection. Premiered in December 2023 in Philadelphia, the concert-length work has already become a staple in The Crossing's repertoire. Showtime is at 7:30pm.

Middletown Arts Center presents the MAC Music Café on Sunday

(MIDDLETOWN, NJ) -- The Middletown Arts Center presents the MAC Music Café, monthly music showcase featuring singer-songwriters Dan Toye, Gwynne Alden, Kevin Liebkemann and Patrick Bamburak on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 4:00pm. The concert will take place in the MAC Theater. The event is free with a suggested donation of $5.
