New Brunswick rapper Silent Knight is living up to his motto, “Busy Is My Best Friend,” with two singles released in as many weeks.

The second single, “Me and Pelican,” drops May 20, and the first, “Black Sun in New Orleans,” is the Makin Waves Song of the Week.

As the Makin Waves Song of the Week, “Black Sun in New Orleans” also can be heard between 6 and 8 p.m. on May 20 on “Radio Jersey” at ThePenguinRocks.com.

Silent Knight will celebrate the release of both singles with a weekend stand. On May 20, he’ll perform at George Street Ale House in New Brunswick with members of his band, The Band Called FUSE, as well as hip-hop media great Manny Faces. On May 21, he will play two shows from 4 to 6 pm in an in-store appearance at The Shop in Ridgewood, N.Y., and at 8 pm at The Sampler in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn also with Manny Faces.
