American Theater Group To Honor Broadway Legend Christine Ebersole at June Gala

Bring Me The Horizon To Perform in Brooklyn

(SEWELL, NJ) -- Music at Bunker Hill presents its final Season 14 concert on June 12, 2022 at 3:00pm - the long-anticipated Trout Quintet, rescheduled after its cancellation in spring 2020. Schubert’s beloved Quintet in A major, D. 667 “Trout” will be performed by Eugene Drucker, violin; William Frampton, viola; Roberta Cooper, cello; Timothy Cobb, bass; and Gili Melamed-Lev, piano. This quintet is nicknamed “Trout” because movement four is a set of variations on Schubert’s earlier lied “Die Forelle.”

Great Point Studios and NJPAC partner with Lionsgate to Open TV/Film Complex in Newark


(NEWARK, NJ) -- Mayor Ras J. Baraka, Great Point Studios, a studio investment/management business specializing in film and television infrastructure, and The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), Newark's anchor cultural and civic institution, today announced a partnership between Great Point Studios and NJPAC with global content leader Lionsgate to build a major new production facility in Newark. The facility will be owned and operated by Great Point Studios. As the facility's long-term anchor tenant, Lionsgate will receive naming rights to the studio. NJPAC will manage public affairs and community relations for the studio and create educational programs and internships for Newark high school and college students.

Ocean County Library Barnegat Branch to Feature Watercolors by Frank Folinus in June


(BARNEGAT, NJ) -- Watercolor creations by longtime Ocean County resident Frank Folinus will be on display throughout June at the Ocean County Library Barnegat Branch. A visitor to the county since 1955, and a full-time resident since 1972, Frank served 35 years as a carpentry teacher, administrator and principal in the Ocean County Vocational-Technical Schools.

New Jersey State Council on the Arts Approves Over $3.6 Million in Grants for New Capital Arts Program


(TRENTON, NJ) -- The New Jersey State Council on the Arts held a public meeting on May 17th, where over $3.6 million was awarded to 38 organizations through the new Capital Arts grant program. The 18-month grant program is designed to help New Jersey’s nonprofit arts organizations build operational stability and capacity by supporting capital improvement, renovation, and new construction projects.
1st Annual Daydream Festival Brings Community Together with Music, Art, and Culture to Support Local Cancer Foundation


(TUCKERTON, NJ) -- Saturday, May 21st, marks the first annual Daydream Festival at The Union Market & Gallery in the Tuckerton Seaport. Daydream will feature creative vendors and artists, as well as live music and poetry, setting up shop to support David’s Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides assistance to families affected by a cancer diagnosis.

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Dress up and join the party with “Disney Junior Live On Tour: Costume Palooza” coming to Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) on Saturday, October 29. The all-new show features the first appearance of characters from “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends” in addition to Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Doc McStuffins, the Puppy Dog Pals, and Alice from Disney Junior’s newest hit series “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery,” live on stage.

(ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- The 15-week series, Broadway at Westfield Garden Plaza which began on March 19, continues on Saturday, May 21 with the music and characters of the Disney adventure “Moana.” There are two half hour performances every Saturday at 11:00am-11:30am and 1:00pm-1:30pm at Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ on Level 2 Macy’s Court Area, near Shake Shack. Presented in partnership with Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC), the series features songs and scenes from your favorite Broadway shows and modern movies.
