"Leah DeVun: Resemblance" on Display in New Brunswick

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- In September, The Center for Women in the Arts at Douglass announced award-winning photographer, scholar, and Rutgers Professor, Leah DeVun as the 2024-2025 Lebowitz Artist-in-Residence at Rutgers University. DeVun's exhibition, Leah DeVun: Resemblance is currently on view until March 14, 2025 in the Mary H. Dana Women Artists Series Galleries, Douglass Library.

The Oyster Point Gallery to Show New Works by Robert Melee

(RED BANK, NJ) -- The Oyster Point Gallery is pleased to announce that they will be showing work by Robert Melee that has not been seen before. These wall sculptures are deceptive: they look like everyday objects, but they decidedly are not. Robert Melee elevates and transforms the ordinary. The exhibit runs from January 24 to March 31, 2025.

Local photographer, Elizabeth Menzies, featured in new exhibition at Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript Library at Princeton University

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- In 1936, three years out of high school and working from her home darkroom on Prospect Avenue in Princeton, Elizabeth Menzies (1915-2003) sold her first cover photograph to the Princeton Alumni Weekly (PAW). That photo and many others went uncredited. The back sides of the prints document an evolution – from the lightly penciled "Menzies" to a polite "Credit Line Appreciated" to her rubber stamp insisting "Credit Line, Please."

Artworks Trenton and Grounds for Sculpture to present works by Clifford Ward through a unique collaboration

This annual festival provides High School and Middle School students from Mercer County’s public, private, parochial, and independent schools the opportunity for a day of full arts immersion at the West Windsor campus of Mercer County Community College.

Unique Noyes Arts Garage Exhibit to Feature Works of South Jersey Professors

(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- The Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University will debut a new and unique exhibit this month featuring dynamic and diverse works of art created by 35 professors at southern New Jersey colleges and universities. "Academic Visions: Southern NJ University and College Art Professors Showcase" runs from January 18 through May 3, 2025.

RVCC's Institute of Holocaust & Genocide Studies presents "Anne Frank in Translation"

(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- School and community groups are invited to view a new exhibition, Anne Frank in Translation, on display January 6-May 15, 2025 at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg. The eight-panel exhibition, presented by the Institute of Holocaust & Genocide Studies at RVCC, highlights Anne Frank's enduring legacy and her role as a powerful symbol of the Holocaust.

Visual Arts Center of New Jersey presents Winter/Spring Exhibitions

Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition "Black Wings: American Dreams of Flight" opens on February 7th in Rahway

(RAHWAY, NJ) -- The City of Rahway is pleased to announce the opening of Black Wings: American Dreams of Flight at The Gallery Space (1670 Irving Street) in Rahway. This is a powerful exhibition chronicling the story of African Americans who, despite facing tremendous racial barriers, attained amazing achievements in aviation history. This exhibition will be on view at the Gallery Space from February 7 through June 30, 2025.
