Vivid Stage presents Episode 5 of "Gemstones" - An Original Series

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, is celebrating its 30th Anniversary season, marking decades of bringing contemporary theatre to audiences in the state of New Jersey. Coming up is the fifth episode of the original series, Gemstones, by Phoebe Farber. Episode 5 runs Friday, February 28, 2025 at 8:00pm and Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 2:00pm.

George Street Playhouse presents "King James"

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- George Street Playhouse presents King James from March 18 through April 7, 2025. Written by Pulitzer Prize finalist playwright Rajiv Joseph (Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo), the production is directed by Ryan George (GSP's The Club). King James is a funny and heartfelt look at loyalty, ambition, and celebrates the connections that keep us going.



The Growing Stage presents "Catching the Moon: The Story of a Young Girl's Baseball Dream"

(NETCONG, NJ) -- The Growing Stage: The Children's Theatre of New Jersey is thrilled to present Catching the Moon: The Story of a Young Girl's Baseball Dream weekends from February 14-23, 2025. It tells the spirited story of the Black girl who grew up to become "Toni Stone," the first woman to play for an all-male professional baseball team.
