It's time for On Your Feet: the  Story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan, a romping, stomping musical about the lives of Latino singer Gloria Estefan and her husband Emilio, who shook up the American music world with a string of Latino beat hits in the 1980s and a sensational stage show that played around the world

(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre is presenting A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder from October 14 - 30. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm, Saturdays and Sundays at 3:00pm. This knock-'em-dead, uproarious hit was the most Tony-nominated show of the 2014 season with ten nominations and four wins, including Best Musical. Special FREE Performance of "American Soldier" at Monmouth University on Veteran's Day

(WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- Douglas Taurel brings his one-man show, The American Soldier, to Monmouth University's Pollak Theatre on Friday, November 11th at 8:00pm.  Taurel powerfully brings home the impact of war on the people who live it day in and day out. He plays each character with passion, nuance and heart. This is a special FREE performance on Veteran's Day, but advance registration is required.

Shakespeare Theatre's "The Caretaker" is a Gem of A Production

(MADISON, NJ) -- The Caretaker, by Harold Pinter, is a play about a nobly minded pair of London brothers who take in a homeless man and give him a bed in the bedroom of one, food and a chance at a new life as the caretaker of their house. It is a 1960 play and resonates today because homelessness, no matter where you look, is still a major problem in England, and America. In New York City alone, there are 52,000 homeless people, one of the highest totals in years.

(BORDENTOWN, NJ) -- Pegasus Theatre Company is currently presenting Yasmina Reza’s scathing hit comedy God of Carnage, weekends through October 23. Reza, known for cleverly turning mundane social situations into riotous comedies, quickly strips away all social niceties in God of Carnage to expose two couples trapped in the chaos of marriage and parenthood. Zara Phillips No-Holds Barred

The Shakespeare Theatre presents Two One-Act Gems by Alice Childress

(MADISON, NJ) -- The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (STNJ) will bring two very different but superb one-act plays, Florence and Mojo, by Alice Childress to its Main Stage. Alice Childress, often acknowledged as the only 20th-century African-American woman to have written, produced, and published plays for four decades, was at the height of her powers in the 1950s and 60s. Her broad literary universe spanned over 40 years and earned her a Pulitzer Prize nomination for her novel A Short Walk. Florence and Mojo will be on the Main Stage from October 26 – November 13.

EVENT PREVIEWS

(BORDENTOWN, NJ) -- The Bordentown Regional High School Chapter Select play After Math by Jonathan Dorf will be performed on Friday, January 17, 2025 in the Bordentown Performing Arts Center. This is a short dramedy about how well we know each other. The production is directed by senior Ryan Haje and will be featured at the 2025 NJ State Thespian Festival. Showtime is 7:30pm.
