"This is a solo show and now that the post COVID touring world is back, I'm basically on a kind of perpetual tour. I take breaks from it but I'm doing a lot of shows now. I'm doing The Lizzie Rose, I might have a couple of other shows on the East Coast in the same vicinity and we're trying to route it so it's not crazy; I prefer driving to flying but yeah, I'm busy," stated guitarist Stanley Jordan as he talked about his two upcoming March 16 shows at The Lizzie Rose Music Room in Tuckerton, NJ, his upcoming new release, influences and more.  

Jersey City Theater Center presents Theatre, Film and International Music in March

(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Jersey City Theater Center has an exciting lineup of four captivating shows taking place throughout the last half of March, showcasing a variety of artistic expressions and cultural influences. Twenty Years of Show Biz for Irish 'Celtic Woman'

Irish entertainment became very popular in the United States about fifteen years ago. A friend of mine's teenage daughter became so fascinated by it that she became an Irish dancer and joined an American company of Irish dancers and performed all over the U.S. Dance and music companies from Ireland have performed to sold out crowds all over America. Each has it its own style of singing and dancing and one if the most successful is the all-female Celtic Woman, which will be at the State Theatre New Jersey in New Brunswick on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

Lizzie Rose Music Room presents John McEuen

(TUCKERTON, NJ) -- Lizzie Rose Music Room presents multi-instrumentalist John McEuen on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 7:30pm. John was a member of the legendary Nitty Gritty Dirt Band for over 20 years and has rejoined them for several reunions and special music projects.

Axelrod Performing Arts Academy presents "Moana Jr."

(DEAL PARK, NJ) -- The Axelrod Performing Arts Academy presents a musical adaptation of Disney's Moana, Jr. at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center in Deal Park. Moana Jr. is a 60-minute musical based on the groundbreaking 2016 animated film, bringing the adventures of Moana and her village of Motunui to life on stage. Performances take place Saturday, April 6 at 7:00pm, and Sunday, April 7 at 2:00pm.
