The Kean University Percussion Ensemble promotes a diverse and inclusive programming model that draws music from worldwide cultures. This concert will feature music written by the ensemble’s director, Professor James Musto, inspired by his recent month-long experiences in China. The program will also feature a solo work by Steven Myers, a Kean Music Education Alumnus, a West African djembe performance, and large and small ensemble settings.
