Kean University Fall Choral Concert

The Kean University Fall Choral Concert will feature the Kean University Treble Choir, Concert Choir, and Community Chorale under the direction of Dr. Rachel Carlson, Kean’s Director of Choral Activities, and a guest performance by the Science Park High School Choir, under the direction of Andre Barnes.
The concert will include varied and diverse works, including choral music by Johannes Brahms, B. E. Boykin, Diana Saez, Felix Mendelssohn, Reena Esmail, and Moses Hogan, and will feature collaborative pianist Harmony Chau. The Kean University Community Chorale will perform Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s Romancero Gitano, a setting of poetry by Federico García Lorca for choir and classical guitar, and will feature Baran Güzelsoy on guitar.
