The Mountain Goats, is an indie folk band founded by singer-songwriter John Darnielle. Originally a solo project for Darnielle, the band has evolved to include various collaborators such as bassist Peter Hughes, drummer Jon Wurster, and multi-instrumentalist Matt Douglas. In the 1990s, they gained attention for their low-fidelity recordings made on a cassette deck, releasing music on cassette and vinyl. Performing in Princeton as a duo, don’t miss a night of cross-generational storytelling and songcraft.
