We are proud to welcome the multi-instrumentalist John McEuen to the Lizzie Rose Music Room. John was a member of the legendary Nitty Gritty Dirt Band for over 20 years and has rejoined them for several reunions and special music projects. In 1971 he was the catalyst that brought together the greatest musicians from country and bluegrass together to join the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band to produce the iconic and award-winning three LP set called "Will The Circle Be Unbroken". This LP has been heralded as " one of the most important records to ever come out of Nashville"... as written by Rolling Stone columnist Chet Flippo.
John has seven solo LPs to his credit along movie soundtrack scores, appearances and session work on 46 LPs with various artists and the little-known facts that he gave banjo lessons to comedian Steve Martin and played on Martin's hit novelty song "King Tut". John was inducted into the Traditional Country Music Hall Of Honor in 2009 and into the Bluegrass Hall Of Fame in 2017. His storied career continues on, and we overjoyed to have him grace our stage.
