The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show

A touring version of the popular stage show that faithfully brings Eric Carle’s classic children’s books to life on stage. Created by Jonathan Rockefeller, the critically acclaimed show features a menagerie of more than 75 puppets from Carle’s stories, including Brown Bear, Brown Bear10 Little Rubber DucksThe Very Lonely Firefly, and the star of the show, the famously Very Hungry Caterpillar, who eats his way through the week before metamorphosing into a beautiful butterfly. Children and adults alike are sure to marvel at the stunning puppetry that breathes life into the characters and their messages of community, self-expression, and the power of creativity.

Please Note: We require guests 12 and under to be accompanied by an adult. Babies under 1 year sitting on laps are free, but you must reserve a ticket.

(LINCROFT, NJ) -- Brookdale Community College's Performing Arts Center has announced Digging The Whole, a family-friendly play will run from December 5-8, 2024 in the Black Box Theater. Written by Mark Schaeffer and featuring music and lyrics by Rita Z. Asch, Digging The Whole tells the tale of Slag Heap, a soda-loving, TV-watching character who builds a home deep in the woods.
