This one-hour adaptation of the classic story uses a mix of actors and puppets, new songs and favorites from the classic movie. Rediscover the joy of following the yellow brick road with Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, and the Cowardly Lion as they travel through a reimagined world of Oz. Perfect for audiences 2 - 7 years old.

“The Wizard of Oz,” the classic tale that has been entertaining audiences for ages, features a cast of 6 actors, the Munchkins as puppets, one flying monkey and a funny witch. Perfect for audiences 2-7 years old. Rediscover the joy of following the yellow brick road with Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion as they travel through a reimagined world of Oz.

(LINCROFT, NJ) -- Brookdale Community College's Performing Arts Center has announced Digging The Whole, a family-friendly play will run from December 5-8, 2024 in the Black Box Theater. Written by Mark Schaeffer and featuring music and lyrics by Rita Z. Asch, Digging The Whole tells the tale of Slag Heap, a soda-loving, TV-watching character who builds a home deep in the woods.
