Friday, July 14, 2023 @ 8:00pm

Kilkenny Alehouse
27 Central Avenue, Newark, NJ 07102

This special LGBTQ lineup celebrating Newark Pride Week features:

Pat Brown, a former DIV1 college athlete and an out black lesbian, turned standup comedian is the perfect career choice for this gifted performer. Pat is effortlessly funny and fun-smart like a Snapple cap. She has appeared on CBS’s Late Show with Stephen Colbert, HBO’s 2 Dope Queens, a regular comedy writer for the ESPY Awards and the NFL Honors. She can be heard regularly on Sirius Radio, Hart’s LOL and Raw Dog.

Dr. Anthony Drew is a New York City-based comedian and everyone’s favorite professor. As a professor his work has been cited hundreds of times, as a comedian, he made a child puke from laughter. He's producer and co-host of "Comedy at the Rockbar" in NYC.

Maria Heinegg is a comedian, writer and actress who has been seen on Bravo, Spike TV and heard on Sirius radio. She's been featured in the New York Comedy Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, High Mud Comedy Festival and Brooklyn Comedy Festival.

Special Guest co-host: Harmonica Sunbeam, The Comedy Queen, has been delighting audiences at nightclubs, cabarets, and fundraising events throughout the United States and abroad for over 27 years. Miss Sunbeam showcases her unique ability to uplift, encourage and engage children through the Drag Story Hour program where drag queens go into libraries, bookstores, festivals and other events to read books to kids of all ages. Since the inception of DQSH in the New York area, Miss Sunbeam has been featured in the NY Times and also interviewed for a now-viral video on Buzzfeed.

Musical Guest: Ali de León is an independent recording artist born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. Prior to 2012, Ali's focus was on theatre. Although music was always a part of her life, she never thought she would pursue it. In 2012, Ali was studying abroad in England, away from her family for the first time, and heart-broken when melodies and harmonies became the only way of release. From then on, Ali began to write music.
