Imperial Brass will perform with the internationally renowned trombone soloist Brett Baker, long standing Principal Trombone of the Black Dyke Brass Band.

Englishman Brett Baker is viewed as one of Europe’s leading brass performers and educators. He is passionate about encouraging new composers to write pioneering new repertoire for the trombone having been involved in over 100 solo commissions. Brett is Marketing Lead for Denis Wick & Alliance Products, an Artist for Michael Rath Brass Instruments and longest serving Principal Trombone of the world-famous Black Dyke Band, having played in the band consecutively for 24 years.
Imperial Brass has been delighting audiences around New Jersey for over 30 years. Originally founded as the Rutgers Alumni Brass Band by alumni Steve Dillon and Jon Korsun with arranger Mark Freeh, the band gave its first concert in April of 1991. Since then, Imperial Brass has presented highly entertaining programs that include traditional brass band literature, classical arrangements, popular music and more.
