Reefer Madness

Saturday, April 22, 2023 @ 8:00pm

Brook Arts Center
10 Hamilton Street, Bound Brook, NJ 08805

Reefer Madness is a musical satire of the 1936 propaganda film and cult classic Reefer Madness that opened in Los Angeles in 1998. The book and lyrics were written by Kevin Murphy and the book and music by Dan Studney.  This raucous musical comedy takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the hysteria caused when clean-cut kids fall prey to marijuana, leading them on a hysterical downward spiral filled with evil jazz music, sex, and violence.

**THURSDAY, April 20th ONLY - Special Talkback after the show with Writer/Composer, Dan Studney, and the Original Jimmy Harper from LA/Off Broadway/Movie, Christian Campbell**
