(WESTFIELD, NJ) -- The Westfield Community Players presents God of Carnage, a dark comedy with five performances from January 13-27, 2024. After an altercation between two young boys results in an injury, the two sets of parents get together with the objective to discuss and resolve the incident in a civilized manner. As the evening progresses, however, the parents become more childish, the “civilized” meeting devolves into utter chaos.
The cast includes Brian Remo as Alan, Sky Monroe as Annette, John Schweska as Michael, and Renee Litwin as Veronica. The production is directed by Fred Cuozzo and produced by Peter Curley.
Performances take place Saturday, January 13 at 8:00pm; Sunday, January 14 at 2:00pm; Saturday, January 20 at 8:00pm; Friday, January 26 at 8:00pm; and Saturday, January 27 at 8:00pm. Performances take place at 1000 North Avenue West in Westfield, New Jersey. Tickets are $25 and available for purchase at www.wcptheatre.org.
Westfield Community Players (WCP), founded in 1934, has brought more than 300 comedies, dramas, musicals and mysteries to life on their stage. All productions are presented in their own 150 seat theater on the corner of Edgewood Avenue and North Avenue West in Westfield, New Jersey. With their productions, they continue to be part of the active cultural scene in Westfield and surrounding communities.
WCP is committed to offering hands-on participation for those wishing to learn more about various aspects of live theatrical production and performance while providing a varied theater experience to a broad audience. They do that by actively seeking volunteers to keep their theater functioning, and by maintaining an open-casting policy where everyone can audition for all of their scheduled plays.
