(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- This July, The ShowRoom invites you to experience a special series of music-oriented films on the last three Thursdays of the month. Starting at 7:30pm on July 11th, 18th, and 25th, these screenings celebrate some of the greatest music performances ever captured on film. Asbury Park, known for its rich rock & roll heritage, provides the perfect setting for these cinematic events, with two films celebrating their 40th anniversaries.
Thursday, July 11th – Jonathan Demme's "Stop Making Sense" - Kicking off the series is Jonathan Demme's "Stop Making Sense," a film that captures the Talking Heads during their 1983 tour. Thursday, July 18th – Martin Scorsese's "The Last Waltz" - On July 18th, they present Martin Scorsese's "The Last Waltz."
