The Premier Theatre Company presents "Next to Normal" at the Navesink Library Theater

(ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ) -- The Premier Theatre Company will present Next to Normal at the Navesink Library Theater in Navesink (Atlantic Highlands) on April 21, 22 and 23, 2023. Next to Normal, with book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey and music by Tom Kitt, explores how one suburban family copes with crisis and mental illness.

Leading the production team are Director Deborah Murad and Musical Director Bob Sammond. The cast includes Bre Cade as Diana, Joseph DeMaio as Dan, Alec Kelsey as Gabe, Grace Allison as Natalie, Vincent DeMeo as Henry and John Paul Durazzo as Dr. Madden.

This touching contemporary musical will be live on stage, for 3 performances only. Opening night is Friday, April 21. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8:00pm and the Sunday matinee is at 2:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. Seating is General Admission and Ticket are $30. Group Discounts are also available.

Chosen by Premier to support May being Mental Illness Awareness Month, the performance on Saturday will be followed by a talkback with the cast and members of NAMI, the National Alliance of Mental Illness. NAMI is a co-sponsor of the show and will also have a staffed table in the lobby with information about their activities.

Next to Normal is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials also supplied by MTI.

(HOLMDEL, NJ) -- SiriusXM radio host Seth Rudetsky is bringing Seth's Big Fat Broadway LIVE! concert series to Bell Theater in Holmdel on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 8:00pm. Rudetsky's guest is Broadway's Sierra Boggess (The Little Mermaid, The Phantom of the Opera). This up-close and personal concert series is a mix of the greatest hits from the Boggess' Broadway career plus intimate, behind-the-scenes stories, coupled with Rudetsky's funny, insightful and revealing questions.
