(BELMAR, NJ) -- The Artist Collective Troupe will present its 2nd Annual “Wish Upon a Song,” an animated movie musical revue benefitting Make-A-Wish New Jersey, in Belmar on Saturday, April 22. Join all your favorite fairytale characters including princes, princesses, heroes, villains, and more for a musical journey that teaches us that the most powerful magic can be found right in our very own hearts!
“Wish Upon a Song” is directed by Eric Pertgen, music directed by Chelsea Carlson, and choreographed by Ariana Centamore. The cast includes talented adults, teens, and children portraying characters inspired by your favorite fairytales, and songs from classic animated movie musicals.
In keeping with ACT’s mission to give back to the community, proceeds from “Wish Upon a Song” will be donated to Make-A-Wish New Jersey. Make-A-Wish NJ grants the wishes of children living with critical illness here in the Garden State, providing a sense of hope and excitement during a challenging time. Last year’s “Wish Upon a Song” raised $1600 and was able to help send a local five-year-old to Disney for her wish! ACT hopes to be able to donate even more this year to make an even bigger impact.
Performances will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 1:30pm & 7:00pm at Belmar Elementary School, located at 1101 Main Street, Belmar NJ.
Tickets are available for purchase online and at the door for $25-$30. A character meet-and-greet is included after the performance.
