(CAMDEN, NJ) -- The South Camden Comedy Club at The Waterfront South Theatre presents comedian Todd Barry on Thursday, May 23, 2024. Todd is a comedic luminary with a career spanning over three decades who has left an indelible mark on both stand-up and screen. Doors are at 6:00pm, showtime is 7:00pm.
Renowned for his deadpan delivery and razor-sharp wit, Barry has graced the stages of legendary venues worldwide, from New York's Comedy Cellar to Los Angeles' Largo at the Coronet. His acting credits include memorable roles in hit television series such as "Louie," "Flight of the Conchords," “Chappelle’s Show, and "Sex and the City," solidifying his status as a versatile talent in both comedy and acting.
Todd will be joined by their host, Connor McGovern, and another stand-up comedian to be announced.
General admission is $40 and available for purchase online. Tonewood Beer, Moore Brothers Wine, and ready to drink cocktails will be for sale.
The Waterfront South Theatre is located at 400 Jasper Street (Michael Doyle Lane) in Camden, New Jersey. First opened in 2010, the theatre was conceived under the direction of the Heart of Camden, a neighborhood restoration group. Since it’s opening, they’ve hosted theatre seasons, fundraising events, neighborhood movies, neighborhood events and meetings, reading groups, poetry groups, and so much more. Many thousands have come through their doors to enjoy great, live entertainment. As they grow, theyhope to have more events by and for their neighbors in Camden and the areas around the theatre. It’s important to note that The Waterfront South Theatre is the first theatre built in Camden, New Jersey in more than 100 years.
