On Sunday, February 16, 2025, Joe Pop's Shore Bar in Ship Bottom will host SoundSurge, a dynamic and unforgettable mutual aid concert event featuring the release of Chris Rockwell's album Rockwell Rebel Radio II, a new single from singer/songwriter Izzy Miz, and the official launch of Soundsmith Records, an Ocean County based black-owned record label created by educator and recording artist Chill Smith. This amped-up celebration will also serve as a goods & supply drive, supporting the community by collecting food and items benefiting local non-profit Bright Harbor Healthcare's Street Outreach Services (SOS) program in Ocean County.

Promising to ignite the winter season with a diverse lineup of nonstop performances and an energetic atmosphere, SoundSurge aims to unite music and art lovers from all walks of life. The evening will also feature artists and creatives in a pop-up vendor market, curated by Soup Can Magazine.

It’s about building something where everyone involved genuinely wants to succeed.”
