(EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Playhouse 22's annual production of A Christmas Carol returns to the Playhouse 22 stage weekends from December 8-17, 2023. Directed by Ken Paris and adapted by Tony Adase, this production is based on the Charles Dickens' piece by the same name. It is the famous tale of a miserable miser who learns to keep Christmas in his heart with the help of several ghostly visitations.
The Playhouse 22 production first premiered in 1994 has run nearly every year since and is a show for the whole family.
Peter Reimann is making his first appearance as "Ebenezer Scrooge", having played the "Ghost of Jacob Marley" for years. Returning as the "Spirit of Christmas Past" is Jackie Master, with Michael Gilbert as the "Ghost of Jacob Marley" and Don Benhardt as the "Spirit of Christmas Present."
Performances are through December 17 on Fridays at 8:00pm; Saturdays at 4:00pm & 8:00pm; and Sundays at 2:00pm.
