(MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse is presenting Disney’s Hercules through March 19. It’s a terrific twist of fates! The inspired Disney animated film is now a mythical new musical adventure. Hercules is the divinely funny story of an honest-to-Zeus hero on a quest to discover who he is and where he belongs. Is love a possibility too? Oh, Hades, yes! The roof-raising score features all the hits you love from the film, including the Oscar-nominated song “Go the Distance,” as well as “Zero to Hero” and “I Won’t Say (I’m in Love),” along with new songs written for the stage.

The cast features Bradley Gibson as Hercules, Tony Award winner Shuler Hensley as Hades, Tony Award winner James Monroe Iglehart as Phil, and Isabelle McCalla as Meg, with Jeff Blumenkrantz as Panic and Reggie De Leon as Pain, alongside the Muses: Charity Angél Dawson as Clio, Tiffany Mann  as Calliope, Anastacia McCleskey as Thalia, Destinee Rea as Terpsichore and Rashidra Scott as Melpomene.

The ensemble features Kathryn Allison as Despina, Allyson Kaye Daniel as Aunt Tithesis/Lachesis, Lucia Giannetta as Atropos, Jesse Nager as Nessus, Kristen Faith Oei as Hera, Dennis Stowe as Zeus and Anne Fraser Thomas as Clotho, as well as Joshua Buscher, Marcus Cobb, Zachary Downer, Ryan Fitzgerald, Kendall LeShanti, Chani Maisonet, Skye Mattox, Jason W. McCollum, Erin Moore, JJ Niemann, Gabrielle Reid, Adam Roberts, Ben Roseberry, Christine Shepard, Chiara Trentalange and Lamont Walker II.

Hercules features music by Oscar, Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award winner Alan Menken and lyrics by Tony Award winner David Zippel and a book by Tony Award winner Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah, based on the Disney film written by Ron Clements, John Musker, Donald McEnery, Bob Shaw, and Irene Mecchi and directed by Ron Clements and John Musker. The music is supervised and arranged by Michael Kosarin, with orchestrations by Danny Troob and Joseph Joubert, dance music arrangements by Mark Hummel, and music direction by Ted Arthur. Choreography is by Chase Brock and Tanisha Scott. Hercules is directed by Obie Award winner Lear deBessonet.

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- 700-year-old traditional Turkish Theatre in America. Recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, Turkish shadow theater will be showcased at Princeton University. Actor and playwright Ayhan Hulagu adapts the 700-year-old Karagöz tradition in The Forest of the Witch for American audiences.

(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- Raritan Valley Community College's Arts & Design department will present The Wind in the Willows by Ken Grahame, April 9-11, 2025. The production, which is free of charge and open to the public, will be staged in the Welpe Theatre at the College's Branchburg campus. Showtime is 7:00pm each night.

Written by Rajiv Joseph, the show centers around a friendship which develops due to the amazing career of NBA superstar LeBron James. The friendship is between two young men who both love basketball. But it becomes more than that as it goes on.
