(BRADLEY BEACH, NJ) -- Parkfest Bradley Beach returns to Riley Park for a full day of music and fun activities on Sunday, July 9. Presented by the Borough of Bradley Beach and Telegraph Hill Records, this free event begins at 11:00am with yoga, followed by non-stop music from noon until 7:30pm on two stages in the park.
Visitors can stroll through the park to shop at the vendor market, play chess or lawn games, enjoy a variety of food, or stop in at the beer garden hosted by Bradley Brew Project. This year’s event also features a third satellite stage at UVA Restaurant’s back patio bar sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
“Parkfest 2022 was such a huge success, we’re thrilled to bring this back for our community,” said Bradley Beach Mayor Larry Fox. “The great music, vendor market and activities kept the park filled for the entire day.”
The full day of music covers many diverse styles of music that can be enjoyed by all ages. Performers at the event include Jarod Clemons and the Late Nights, The Mercury Brothers, Des & the Swagmatics, The Uneasy, Kuf Knotz & Christine Elise, Levy Okun, and Pepperwine on the Bandshell stage. The Gazebo stage features high energy performances from 8dayzstr8, Kiersten Blue, Foes of Fern, S0ulfood, Emerson Woolf, Patty C, and Meg Whalen.
“The Jersey Shore has such high quality original performers and we’re pleased to bring 14 of those acts into downtown Bradley Beach,” said Joe Pomarico, President of event organizer Telegraph Hill Records.
The event spotlights the great downtown of Bradley Beach, while also supporting two non-profits, Rescue Ridge Shelter and Open Climate Research Collective, through the generous contributions from the event sponsors. The town has made arrangements for dogs to be allowed in the park for this event.
Platinum sponsors include New Jersey American Water, Holmdel-based music technology company Vydia, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka. NJ American Water will be at the event providing free water and sharing information on water conservation. Additional sponsors include Monmouth County Tourism and Bradley Brew Project. Contributing partners include 90.5 the Night Brookdale Public Radio and Bradley Beach Business Alliance.
Riley Park is conveniently located at 615 Main Street, Bradley Beach, right next to the train station. In the event of poor weather, the rain date is set for Sunday, July 16. Keep current with event details on Instagram and Facebook at @ParkfestNJ, or at www.telegraphhillrecords.com/parkfest.
Now in its 5th year, Parkfest has been run annually by Telegraph Hill Records since 2019. The event began in Highlands, NJ, went to a virtual livestream in 2020, and made a stop in Atlantic Highlands before landing in its new home in Bradley Beach in 2022. The spacious Riley Park allowed the event to expand to include a small vendor market and several food trucks. This year’s event will include more than twice as many vendors and food trucks.
