(LAKEWOOD, NJ) -- Everyone is invited to join the excitement as the Ocean County Library Lakewood Branch celebrates a milestone. The Branch's 25th Anniversary Fall Festival kicks off at 2:00pm on Thursday, November 2, with more fun Saturday, November 4, 2023.
Lakewood voters authorized their public library’s entry into the Ocean County Library system in November 1998, a turning point in the institution’s history which stretches back more than 140 years to a time when Lakewood was known as Bricksburg.
The Fall Festival will open with a reception at 2:00pm on Thursday, November 2, followed by a presentation by Waretown’s Out of Sight Alpaca Farm, complete with its friendly, furry inhabitants. The Branch will be filled with craft and activity stations for the whole family.
Celebrations continue with a performance of contemporary hits, classics and Broadway tunes by Jersey Shore favorites Dakota & Elle on Saturday, November 4 at 2:00pm.
