Ocean County Library to Hold Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Celebration

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Whovians of all ages, join us to celebrate six decades of your favorite time traveling alien!  The Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Celebration will take place on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Ocean County Library Toms River Branch. The event runs from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Test your Doctor Who knowledge and compete for a prize in our trivia contest. Then make your own sonic screwdriver, fandom buttons, weeping angels, adipose keychains, and more. The winner of our scavenger hunt for teens and adults will go home with a 3D printed adipose.

The groundbreaking science fiction series which debuted on BBC in 1963 centers on the  extraterrestrial known as The Doctor, who roams the universe, transcends time and space with an array of companions, helps people in need and opposes enemies of civilization.
