(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Siblings of children with developmental disabilities will have a chance to mingle in a relaxed, non-therapy setting during the Ocean County Library Autism Resources Fair in the Toms River Branch. Settings take place on Saturday, April 15 at 10:00am and 12:15pm.
The Sibling Get-Together will take place in the second-floor Hometown Dairy Room, adjacent to the Teen Zone.
Siblings age 7 to 15 are welcome to the peer-group gathering. The goal is to help children cultivate new friendships, share ideas about handling tricky situations with their siblings, to validate their feelings, and to feel good about themselves.
Please register at www.theoceancountylibrary.org/autism to attend this free program. Registration is not required to attend the Fair.
The Autism Resources Fair is sponsored by the Ocean County Library Foundation. For more information, visit the Autism Resources Fair website, stop into the Toms River Branch, 101 Washington Street, or call (732) 349-6200.
