(NEWTON, NJ) -- After almost eight years, The Genesis Show returns to The Newton Theatre on Saturday, January 20, 2024. The Genesis Show is the only Genesis Tribute Band in the US dedicated to recreating the Phil Collins era of Genesis, specifically focusing on the '76-'82 Tours. With two drummers and a ton of vintage gear, The Genesis Show faithfully delivers the Genesis live experience. Showtime is 8:00pm.
This electric concert experience brings all the power, groove and excitement that Genesis brought to the stage. This is the band’s debut performance of the Lyceum Ballroom 1980 London Show at the The Newton Theatre, making it one concert you don’t want to miss.
The Genesis Lyceum Ballroom Show from the 1980 Duke Tour is an iconic performance and fan favorite. Although there was not an official album release of that concert, it was captured on video, which can be found on YouTube. It features songs from the 1980 Duke Tour featuring hits like “Turn It On Again”, “Behind The Lines”, “Duchess” and more. This show also featured many older Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel era songs so this tour has something for all Genesis fans.
Tickets range from $39-$49 and will be available for purchase online starting Friday, October 20 at 10:00am.
The Newton Theatre is located at 234 Spring Street in Newton, New Jersey. The historic theatre was founded in 1924. It is a beautifully restored 605 seat performing arts center in the heart of Sussex County, presenting diverse programming, including world-renowned music acts, comedians, family productions, holiday shows and much more.
