(RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ) -- Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Board of County Commissioners, and the Bergen County Parks Department invite the public to celebrate the Fourth of July with a free concert by the New Jersey Wind Symphony. The music performance will take place on July 3rd and July 4th at The Amphitheater at Overpeck County Park in Ridgefield Park. Performances are scheduled to begin at 7:00pm.
The concert will highlight patriotic classics, show tunes, marches, and more, including a special performance of Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture” (featuring real cannons during the July 4th show). The premier wind ensemble will be joined by singer/songwriter Leslie Mendelson.
The Overpeck Amphitheater (199 Challenger Road in Ridgefield Park) offers a delightful venue for a festive evening band concert. Bring a chair to enjoy this free concert.
The New Jersey Wind Symphony performance is the first in the 2023 Summer concert offerings from the Bergen County Parks Department.
