(NEW HOPE, PA) -- After years of planning and much-anticipated renovations, the New Hope Arts Center is thrilled to announce two major, milestone events in celebration of the historic building's grand reopening in June 2023: "Beyond the Blueprint, Grand Reopening Celebration" on Tuesday, June 6th, followed by a “Members Only Party," on June 10th. Both events are exclusive and offered before officially opening to the public on June 15th, 2023.
On June 6th, in anticipation of the public reopening, the Beyond the Blueprint, Grand Reopening Celebration, planned by the Board of Directors of New Hope Arts, offers an exclusive first-look preview to specially recognize community supporters, state and local officials, and individual donors; all of whom were instrumental to the success of the Elevate the Arts capital campaign. Local architects, designers and builders who were contracted to complete the building renovations made New H0pe Arts vision come to life, so that the Center is able to serve patrons of all ages in the regional community. Further unique event offerings TBA.
Due to the expected high demand and limited space for the Beyond the Blueprint event, the first phase of tickets for $175.00 have just been released and are on sale now at eventbrite.com or can also be found at NewHopeArts.org. Corporate sponsorship opportunities and program ads are available by emailing Vickie Lupisella at development@newhopearts.org or calling 267-740-2653.
Additionally, considered exclusively for New Hope Arts members and volunteers is a “Members Only Party" on Saturday, June 10th, where those who hold an active New Hope Arts membership are personally invited to tour and preview the building, before the official opening to the general public. Times and festivities will be announced in the coming weeks.
Carol Cruickshanks, New Hope Arts Executive Director remarked: "Reopening these doors will certainly be a dream come true. Amongst all the dust and debris, we've witnessed a beautiful ‘unearthing’ as our builders have been skillfully restoring and updating the building, accenting the original beauty and integrity that has been sadly concealed for decades. As we prepare for this new mark in our history, we couldn't be more perfectly situated for deeper artistic inspiration and future programming for our patrons, artists, donors and community. We're wholeheartedly overjoyed to celebrate and share this building with everyone.”
The original capital fundraising campaign, Elevate the Arts, earned its name by goals initially set forth; the installation of a new elevator and ADA-compliant facility, entryway and walkway, making the building accessible for all by comfortably transporting patrons to the organization's signature art exhibitions on the second floor. Other goals were also achieved, such as paying homage to the building's history by exposing original stone walls, which were once hidden beneath layers of plaster for decades and now will be a pinnacle, defining characteristic, amongst a re-imagined, light-filled foyer.
