(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre (MMT) presents a four-weekend run of Hello, Dolly! from March 15th to April 7th. This is the fourth mainstage show of MMT's 2024 season, and the first to premiere on the Martinson Stage at MMT. The stage will be so named following a ribbon-cutting ceremony the previous evening in honor of John H. Martinson, a generous supporter of MMT.
Based on the play The Matchmaker by Thornton Wilder, Hello, Dolly! boasts a book by Michael Stewart, with music and lyrics by Jerry Herman. This legendary musical follows the romantic and comedic exploits of Dolly Gallagher Levi, turn-of-the-century meddlesome matchmaker and “woman who arranges things” as she brings together a few lovelorn couples while forging her own path in a world which constantly underestimates her.
Following her performance as Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, Anna Hentz is back on the MMT stage as Dolly Gallagher Levi. Rounding out the cast are Jonathan Wierzbicki, Patrick Mertz, Libby Kane, Alex Klein, and Madison Kotnarowski, and an ensemble of many familiar MMT faces performing such beloved classics as “It Takes a Woman,” “Ribbons Down My Back,” “Before the Parade Passes By,” and “Put On Your Sunday Clothes.”
Hello, Dolly! will run on the MMT stage from March 15th–April 7th, with 8:00pm evening performances on Fridays and Saturdays and 3:00pm matinee performances on Saturdays and Sundays. For any MMT show, discounted tickets are available for students, seniors, and members of the military, as well as for subscribers to MMT, and in group sales of fifteen or more. Learn more and reserve your seats here.
Guests are also invited to put on their own best Sunday clothes for the matinée performance on March 31st, Easter Sunday, to receive a sweet Easter treat!
