The remainder of the program will feature a NJ premiere of Verdi and a work of Vaughan Williams entitled "Toward the Unknown Region, " a setting of Walt Whitman's poetry.
Jacqueline Bruce, soprano, and members of Imperial Brass will join them that afternoon as well.
Tickets are $25 general admission, $20 for senior citizens, and 18 and under for $15. Tickets are available for purchase online or at the door. Morristown United Methodist Church is located at 50 South Park Place in downtown Morristown, New Jersey.
The Morris Choral Society has a twofold purpose: To make available to all residents of the Morris area varied choral musical programs and to give residents an opportunity to perform in the choral organization. They accept new members to the society by audition in September and in January, and welcome the opportunity to perform for any local organization. They hope that the community will continue to feel as personal an identification with them as they feel with the community they serve.
