(RED BANK, NJ) -- Monmouth Arts presents a sneak peek screening of Freud's Last Session at Basie Center Cinemas on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. On the eve of the Second World War, two of the greatest minds of the twentieth century, C.S. Lewis and Sigmund Freud converge for their own personal battle over the existence of God.
Freud's Last Session interweaves the lives of Freud and Lewis, past, present, and through fantasy, bursting from the confines of Freud’s study on a dynamic journey. The film stars Anthony Hopkins as Sigmund Freud and Matthew Goode as C.S. Lewis. The filmis directed by Matthew Brown.
There will be a reception from 6:00pm to 6:45pm with light bites provided by Sickles Market; the screening begins at 6:55pm.
Tickets to the screening are $15; tickets to the screening and reception are $25 for members and $30 for non-members of Monmouth Arts. Tickets are available for purchase online. Basie Center Cinemas is located at 36 White Street in Red Bank, New Jersey.
