originally published: 04/30/2024

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The ShowRoom will present a weekend celebration (May 4-5, 2024) dedicated to the legendary Anita Pallenberg. The weekend will feature two exclusive one-night-only screenings, including one film co-starring fellow icon Mick Jagger.

Anita Pallenberg was a German-Italian actress, artist, and model. A style icon and "It Girl" of the 1960s and 1970s, Pallenberg was credited as the muse of the Rolling Stones: she was the romantic partner of the Rolling Stones founder, multi-instrumentalist Brian Jones, and later, from 1967 to 1980, the partner of Stones guitarist Keith Richards, with whom she had three children.

Join them first On Saturday, May 4th at 7:30pm for a screening of "Catching Fire: The Story of Anita Pallenberg," a captivating new documentary directed by Alexis Bloom and Svetlana Zill and narrated by Scarlett Johansson. Delve into the life and legacy of Anita Pallenberg, the enigmatic actress, model, and muse, whose influence reverberated throughout the realms of fashion, music, and film. Never-before-seen home movies and family photographs explore actress Anita Pallenberg's life with the Rolling Stones -- a bittersweet tale of triumph and heartbreak. Experience the highs and lows, the glamour and the grit, as we journey through the remarkable story of this cultural icon.

Special Feature: Co-director Svetlana Zill will provide an exclusive pre-recorded introduction to the film, offering insights and anecdotes about Anita Pallenberg's extraordinary journey.

Next, on Sunday, May 5th at 3:00pm, experience the electrifying chemistry between Anita Pallenberg and Mick Jagger in "Performance," a groundbreaking film that defies convention and pushes the boundaries of cinema.
