(PRINCETON, NJ) -- McCarter Theatre presents four performances of Hasan Minhaj: Experiment Time from Saturday, July 22 to Sunday, July 23, 2023 in the Berlind Theatre. Minjaj has developed a reputation as an irreverent storyteller from his popular stints on The Daily Show and Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj.
The two-time Peabody Award-Winner follows-up his globetrotting blockbuster tour The King’s Jester with a special intimate engagement featuring the comedian as he showcases and prepares new material.
Please note this is a screen-free experience. Screen devices (phones, smart watches, etc) will not be permitted in the performance space. Upon arrival, all screen devices will be secured in individual Yondr pouches for the duration of the 70-80 minute performance. Patrons maintain possession of their devices at all times, and can access them in designated spaces in the lobby.
Performances take place Saturday, July 22 at 7:00pm & 9:00pm; and Sunday, July 23 at 6:00pm & 8:30pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. McCarter Theatre Center is located at 91 University Place in Princeton, New Jersey.
Named to TIME's "100 Most Influential People in the World," Minhaj originally rose to prominence as a senior correspondent on The Daily Show. He has gone on to host the White House Correspondents' Dinner and air two Netflix comedy specials: Homecoming King and The King’s Jester.
A first generation American, Minhaj comes from a Muslim family originally from India. In his comedy and at speaking engagements, he draws on his personal history and the immigrant experience to explore the modern cultural and political landscape with depth and sincerity.
