(PRINCETON, NJ) -- From the writer of the hit Broadway musical - and soon-to-be film franchise - Wicked and the beloved 90's TV series My So-Called Life, comes a new comedy that explores a woman's right to choose in decidedly unexpected, often hilarious, and ultimately thought-provoking ways. McCarter Theatre presents Choice by Winnie Holzman, directed by Sarah Rasmussen, from May 8 through June 2, 2024.
Journalist Zipporah Zunder has landed the story of her life—and it’s forcing her to reexamine her past, her (sometimes absurd) present, and the choices that have shaped her life. Playwright Winnie Holzman brings her trademark wit and ability to weave social issues into compelling, relatable stories as she explores one of the most polarizing subjects of our time through a refreshingly humorous - and profoundly human- lens.
The cast includes Barzin Akhavan (Mark / The Other Mark), Jake Cannavale (Hunter), Caitlin Kinnunen (Zoe / Leah or Lena), Ilana Levine (Zipporah "Zippy" Zunder), Dakin Matthews (Clark), and Kate A. Mulligan (Erica).
Tickets are available for purchase online. Note: Choice is recommended for ages 16 and up. This production contains adult themes and language. McCarter Theatre is located at 91 University Place in Princeton, New Jersey.
