(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- In 2024, Lost In Society celebrates 20 years of musical collaboration between band members Zach Moyle and Nick Ruroede. Teaming up once more with California's Wiretap Records, LIS remains dedicated to producing fresh tracks. Their latest offering is the new The Distribution of Comfort EP, out now on Wiretap Records.
Of the new EP, bassist Nick Ruroede says, "This was our first time recording since 2018 and it was essentially a whole new band. Tom and Gee crushed it in the studio. After having known both of them for a while it was really cool to be able to record music with them. It was also great getting to record with Pete from the Bouncing Souls again. He's such a great producer and we're super comfortable with him at this point, so it was more like hanging out."
New Jersey is no stranger to punk-rock and churning out staples in the scene: The Misfits, The Bouncing Souls, Lifetime, and The Gaslight Anthem just to name a few. Lost In Society have spent a lot of time over the past 5 years on the road, supporting artists such as Unwritten Law, Face to Face, 88 Finger Louie, and more. They are proud to carry on the Jersey punk-rock tradition.
