(BASKING RIDGE, NJ) -- Light Opera of New Jersey hosts the finals of Stars of Tomorrow, a vocal competition for New Jersey High School students, on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Basking Ridge. Showtime is 2:00pm.
The grand prize is $1000 and an appearance in an upcoming LONJ Main Stage production, $500 for second place and $250 for third place as determined by the judges; plus $100 for the winner of the audience favorite award.
The finalists include Isaac Ahn (Fort Lee); Becca Axler (Madison); Jake Cerny (Secaucus); Grace Chung (Garfield); Ronan Flanagan (New Providence); Katie Holzer (Florham Park); Gabrielle Liberman (Summit); Bridget Lomax (Short Hills); Echo Picone (Washington); Susan Polito (Basking Ridge); Geisa Quintana (North Bergen); and Maya Wishnia (Warren). These young performers have showcased exception vocal skills and artistry, captivating the judges.
Tickets are $35 for the competition only ($20 students with ID) and $45 for both the competition and reception with refreshments immediately after or $15 for the live stream. Tickets are available for purchase online. St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is located at 140 S. Finley Avenue in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
