(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Join the acclaimed 100-voice Harmonium Choral Society for their winter concert on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 7:30pm or Sunday, December 8 at 3:00pm at the Presbyterian Church in Morristown. The concert features SNOW ANGEL, an evocative piece by Sarah Quartel with cello and piano, and works by Buxtehude, Bruckner, Hailstork, Betinis, Rossi and more. It also features the East Coast premiere of Joseph Gregorio's Unbound Angels with the composer in attendance.
“From lesser-known Baroque gems to cutting edge contemporary a cappella composers, I love finding repertoire that represents diverse voices and excites audiences,” said Artistic Director Dr. Anne Matlack. “Harmonium is in a great place with lots of new young voices, many of whom are music educators. I love that we can showcase their talents both in myriad solos and as instrumentalists.”
