Final Weekend of "Heathers: The Musical" at The Ritz Theatre Company

originally published: 05/23/2024

(HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- Don't miss your last chance to experience the electrifying and darkly comedic show Heathers: The Musical at The Ritz Theatre Company. With only one weekend of performances left, the production concludes on May 26, 2024 and audiences are raving.

“We are thrilled to see so many new faces in our historic theater rushing to see this show,” says Bruce Curless. Artistic Director. “The audience is packed with young people. Young people that had never been at the theater before!”

Based on the cult-classic 1989 film, Heathers: The Musical brings the hilariously twisted world of Westerberg High to life. Audiences are thrust into the drama-filled lives of the popular yet ruthless Heathers—Heather Chandler, Heather Duke, and Heather McNamara. These three rule the school with an iron fist, until Veronica Sawyer, an intelligent but misfit teenager, becomes entangled in their clique. Tensions mount when Veronica meets the brooding newcomer J.D., whose dark intentions threaten to turn the high school hierarchy on its head—permanently.

The Ritz Theatre Company invites you to join them for the final weekend of performances from May 24th to May 26th. Remaining performances take place Friday, May 24th at 8:00pm; Saturday, May 25th at 8:00pm; and Sunday, May 26th at 2:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. The Ritz Theatre Company is located at 915 White Horse Pike in Haddon Township, New Jersey.

The Ritz Theatre Company engages and enriches Delaware Valley audiences by producing professional, diverse entertainment while training artists of all levels in a historic NJ landmark. Throughout their rich history, they’ve aspired to make theatre accessible to everyone, to entertain their audiences with favorites, to challenge them (and themselves) with complex works, to provide onstage training for actors, to introduce kids to the magic of live theatre, and to help restore the historic building they call their home.
