Wednesday, July 5, 2023 - Vivid Stage presents Vivid Solos reading series in July. (SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage presents Vivid Solos, a play reading series, every Wednesday in July. The readings take place at 6:30pm on the lawn of the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey. Bring a comfy lawn chair and your favorite snack and enjoy a summer eve with them. The series includes works by Jerico Bleu, Steve Harper, Douglas McGrath, and Ian August.

Wednesday, July 5, 2023 - Shakespeare Theatre of NJ presents "Shipwrecked! An Entertainment - The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (as Told by Himself)" on the Outdoor Stage. (MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (STNJ) will re-open its ever-popular Outdoor Stage venue on July 5th with Shipwrecked! An Entertainment - The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (as Told by Himself) by Donald Margulies. Since 2002, the company’s annual productions at this Greek-style amphitheater, located on the bucolic campus of Saint Elizabeth University, have provided thousands of people throughout the region with delightful productions under the stars. Saturday, July 8, 2023 - The Doobie Brothers to Play Two Shows at State Theatre. (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey announces two just added performances featuring four-time Grammy® Award-winners and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, The Doobie Brothers on Saturday, July 8 at 8:00pm and Sunday, July 9 at 7:30pm.

Saturday, July 8, 2023 - Brandi Carlile to Headline 2023 Count Basie Center Summer Gala. (RED BANK, NJ) -- 9x GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter, musician and producer Brandi Carlile will headline the 2023 Count Basie Center Summer Gala on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 7:30pm. Funds raised from the gala will go towards the Count Basie Center's Forever For Everyone Endowment's promise of providing hundreds of scholarships to study at the Count Basie Center Academy of the Arts, Conservatory of Music and other partnership programs.

Saturday, July 8, 2023 - Orange Township Food Truck and Jazz Festival Takes Place July 8th(ORANGE, NJ) -- The City of Orange Township presents a Food Truck and Jazz Festival on Saturday, July 8, 2023 in Monte Irvin Orange Park in Orange, New Jersey from 12:00pm-8:00pm. Thursday, July 6, 2023 - The Theater Project's Summer Season Kicks Off With "Sunset Park" by Joseph Vitale. (MAPLEWOOD, NJ) -- The Theater Project, a leading incubator for rising talent and a showcase for New Jersey artists, is returning to Maplewood's Burgdorff Cultural Center, 10 Durand Road, for the second straight summer season. Award-winning writer Joseph Vitale's Sunset Park — three intertwining stories that prove no matter how old you get, love, longing, jealousy, and hope remain constant—kicks off the Summer Season July 6-16. The play was also a finalist in the 2022 NY Theater Fall Festival. 

Thursday, July 6, 2023 - Story of the Year to Perform at Stone Pony Summer Stage in Support of Yellowcard. (ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Story Of The Year will be hitting the road this summer to support Yellowcard and the 20th anniversary of Ocean Avenue. The tour comes to the Stone Pony Summer Stage on Thursday, July 6, 2023. This Wild Life is also on the bill. Showtime is 5:00pm.

Thursday, July 6, 2023 - The Theater Project presents "Sunset Park". (MAPLEWOOD, NJ) -- "No matter how old you get, love, longing, jealousy, and hope remain constant" -- Sunset Park by award-winning writer Joseph Vitale kicks off the Summer Season at The Theater Project, a leading incubator for rising talent and a showcase for New Jersey artists. The company is returning to Maplewood's Burgdorff Cultural Center, 10 Durand Road, with a packed schedule of new and lesser-known work. Sunset Park, performing July 6- 16, consists of four intertwining stories about growing older and coming to terms with the changes in our lives.

Thursday, July 6, 2023 - Centenary's 2023 Summerfest presents "Rock of Ages". (HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company and the NEXTStage Repertory are set to present the first mainstage production for the 2023 Summerfest, Rock Of Ages, from July 6-16 in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center on the Centenary University campus at 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown, NJ. The five-time Tony Award®-nominated Broadway musical, with a Book by Chris D'Arienzo and Arrangements and Orchestration by Ethan Popp, Rock Of Ages tells the story of a small-town girl, a city boy, and a rock 'n' roll romance on the Sunset Strip.

Friday, July 7, 2023 - KIDZ BOP tour comes to Camden and Holmdel. (CAMDEN, NJ) -- KIDZ BOP Never Stops in 2023! KIDZ BOP, the #1 music brand for kids, announced its brand-new tour, KIDZ BOP Never Stop, in partnership with Live Nation. The ultimate pop concert for kids (and their parents!) will travel to 37 cities across the U.S. and Canada this summer, including local stops in Camden (Freedom Mortage Pavilion) on Friday, July 7th and Holmdel (PNC Bank Arts Center) on Friday, July 21st.

Friday, July 7, 2023 - Flemington DIY presenting Reynols 30th Anniversary Art Exhibition 2023. (FLEMINGTON, NJ) -- Flemington DIY and local promoter, Tape Pencil, are hosting an art exhibit featuring the works of Argentine experimental rock band, educators and disability activists, Reynols. On display will be photography, silk screened posters (printed by Flemington DIY's Print Club), xerox art and audio from Reynols. The art exhibition will run until July 31, 2023.

Saturday, July 8, 2023 - The Original Misfits to Play Prudential Center with The Gaslight Anthem and Fear. (NEWARK, NJ) -- The Original Misfits, one of the most influential, genre-defying bands to emerge from North America, have announced a limited three-show run of dates for 2023. Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off on June 24 in Tampa, FL, and includes a hometown show at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, with fellow New Jersey natives The Gaslight Anthem, and Fear, on Saturday, July 8, 2023.

Saturday, July 8, 2023 - Newton Theatre presents The Outlaws. (NEWTON, NJ) -- The Newton Theatre presents The Outlaws on Saturday, July 8, 2023. Doors are at 7:00pm, showtime is 8:00pm. Tickets range from $49-$64

Saturday, July 8, 2023 - 2023 Maplewood Music and Arts Festival to Take Place July 8-9. (MAPLEWOOD, NJ) -- The eighteenth Maplewoodstock Music and Arts Festival will take place on Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9, 2023. Music begins at noon each day. This year's headliners on Saturday are Red Baraat and Mihali. Headliners for Sunday are Remember Jones and Louis Cato.

Saturday, July 8, 2023 - Lomotion Live presents The One Act One Act Play Festival. (BOOTON, NJ) -- Lomotion Live presents The One Act One Act Play Festival the weekend of July 8-9 at The Parsippany Arts Center. Two nights of brand new short comedies written by top New Jersey playwrights. Directed by and starring a stalwart team of NJ Directors and Actors. Saturday, July 8, 2023 - Trenton City Museum to Host Two-Part Lecture Series by Award-winning Author and Presidential Historian Louis L. Picone. (TRENTON, NJ) -- Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie will host a two-part Saturday afternoon lecture series by award-winning author and presidential historian Louis Picone July 8 and July 15. Both programs will be from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and will include a Q&A and a book signing reception. Trenton City Museum is in historic Cadwalader Park, accessed by car from Parkside Ave. It offers plenty of building-adjacent parking.

Sunday, July 9, 2023 - Parkfest Bradley Beach to Take Place July 9th. (BRADLEY BEACH, NJ) -- Parkfest Bradley Beach returns to Riley Park for a full day of music and fun activities on Sunday, July 9. Presented by the Borough of Bradley Beach and Telegraph Hill Records, this free event begins at 11:00am with yoga, followed by non-stop music from noon until 7:30pm on two stages in the park.

Sunday, July 9, 2023 - Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association presents The 69th Annual Choir Festival. (OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- One of Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association (OGCMA)'s most steadfast and beloved traditions, the Annual Choir Festival, now in its 69th season, returns on Sunday, July 9 at 7:00pm in The Great Auditorium. This spectacular choral event features dozens of choral organizations from the Northeast, forming a massed choir of hundreds of voices accompanied by the Great Auditorium's historic 13,000+ pipe organ and featuring the Great Auditorium Soloists. This year's theme is "And the Greatest of These Is Love."

Monday, July 10, 2023 - Garbage, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, And Metric To Play NYC & Philly. Garbage and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have announced a co-headlining tour of North America for this summer. The tour, produced by Live Nation, features special guest Metric and will kick off in Auburn, Washington on June 2nd. Locally, the tour comes to Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage in New York City on July 10th and the TD Pavilion at Mann in Philadelphia on July 14th.

Monday, July 10, 2023 - NJ Rep presents Comedy Night on July 10th. (LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- New Jersey Repertory Company presents a night of comedy on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 7:00pm. Comedian Aaron Kominos-Smith (Inside Amy Schumer, Live at Gotham) brings New York City stand-up comedy to Long Branch! Aaron will be hosting the show and is excited to bring his friends to NJ Rep for an evening of laughs! Joining him are comedians Sonya Vai (CinderBlock Comedy Festival, "Comedy's Best Kept Secret" Tour) and Keith Alberstadt (CMT's "Next Big Comic," Last Comic Standing).

2026 Princeton Festival to Take Place June 5-21 at Morven Museum & Garden

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) is pleased to announce that world-renowned bel canto soprano Sondra Radvanovsky and The Bacon Brothers, Michael and Kevin, are scheduled to perform at the 2026 Princeton Festival. At the core of the Festival, there is live opera with Festival veteran and current Met Opera star Toni Marie Palmertree returning to sing the title role in Puccini's Madama Butterfly. These major stars typify the quality of musical offerings to be found at this year's Festival which runs from June 5-21 on the grounds of Morven Museum & Garden.
