Saturday, March 16 - State Theatre New Jersey presents Celtic Woman. (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey presents Celtic Woman: 20th Anniversary Tour on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 8:00pm. In the 20 years since the global musical sensation's debut, Celtic Woman has emerged as both a formidable musical presence and a genuine cultural phenomenon.

Saturday, March 16 - Skyline Theatre Company presents Reflections: Ireland In Song and Story. (BLOOMFIELD, NJ) -- Skyline Theatre Company, a 21-year-old professional theatre company now calling Essex County its home, presents a special tribute to Ireland for one performance only on Saturday, March 16 at 2:00pm featuring renowned Irish Tenor and New Jersey’s own Timothy Liam Smith in an intimate live performance of Reflections: Ireland In Song and Story.

Sunday, March 17 - State Theatre New Jersey presents Kyiv Virtuosi Symphony Orchestra. (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey presents Kyiv Virtuosi Symphony Orchestra led by Chief Conductor Dmitry Yablonsky on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 3:00pm. The program includes Myroslav Skoryk's Melody, Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto No. 1 in G minor; Mendelsohn & Moscheles' "Fantasie Brilliante & Variations"; Ignaz Moscheles' "Les Contrastes" Grand Duo Op. 115; Berliner's Jacob's Dream Cello Concerto; and Beethoven's Symphony No. 8 in F Major. Soloists in the program include pianist Alon Kariv, Dmitry Yablonsky on cello, and the MultiPiano Ensemble.

Sunday, March 17 - George Wesner Live at The Barrymore: Spring into Joy. (FORT LEE, NJ) -- George Wesner, the principal organist at Radio City Music Hall, returns to the Barrymore Film Center with a program called "Spring Into Joy" on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 2:30pm. This is a multisensory program in the theme of renewal and rebirth. He will be joined this time by trumpeters Alex Bender (currently in the orchestra for Spamalot on Broadway) and Bryan Uhl (Back to the Future: the Musical).

George Street Playhouse presents the World Premiere of "The Club". (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Everyone wants to belong to the club, but what will it cost you? That's the question in The Club by Chris Bohjalian, which is being presented by George Street Playhouse from February 27 to March 17, 2024. The Club is rich with biting wit and startling twists as it explores racism, marriage, and the lies we tell ourselves daily. And though the play is set in 1968, it's eerily timely.

McCarter Theatre presents "Dreamgirls". (PRINCETON, NJ) -- This March, the McCarter Theatre Center, in a partnership with Goodspeed Musicals, presents the revival of the Tony® and Grammy® award-winning musical, Dreamgirls. Coming to Princeton after an acclaimed and blockbuster run in Connecticut, the production features talent that has illuminated stages from Broadway to national tours and graced airwaves on platforms like American Idol. Dreamgirls will take place at McCarter's Matthews Theatre from March 6-24, 2024.

Graham Phillips and Talia Suskauer lead cast of "Sunday in the Park with George" at Axelrod PAC. (OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- The Axelrod Performing Arts Center, in collaboration with Grind Arts Company, presents a bold new production of Stephen Sondheim's Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece Sunday in the Park with George from March 8-24, 2024. The show is directed and choreographed by Eamon Foley (Broadway's Gypsy, Assassins, 13: The Musical) and starring TV and film star Graham Phillips (CBS's The Good Wife, CW's Riverdale) and Broadway's Talia Suskauer (Wicked's Elphaba). Music director Nate Patten (Broadway's Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, School of Rock) will conduct the 11-piece orchestra.

The Growing Stage presents NJ Premiere of "Arthur(tm) & Friends Make A Musical!". (NETCONG, NJ) -- The Growing Stage: The Children's Theatre of New Jersey presents the New Jersey premiere of Arthur™ & Friends Make a Musical! This production,based on the Arthur™ book series created by Marc Brown and adapted for the stage with Book & Lyrics by John Maclay and Music & Lyrics by Brett Ryback, runs weekends from March 8-24, 2024 at the Historic Palace Theatre.

Algonquin Arts Theatre presents "Fiddler on the Roof". (MANASQUAN, NJ) -- Algonquin Arts Theatre presents the classic musical, Fiddler on the Roof from April 6-21, 2024. A journey of love, loss, faith and family, Fiddler on the Roof is a celebration of life and all its challenges. The original production won ten Tony Awards, including a special Tony for becoming the longest-running Broadway musical of all time.

Sunday, March 17 - Jersey Arts Podcast: Violinist Claire Chan Chats Strings and "Music at Bunker Hill". In honor of Women's History Month, their program "100 Years of Women Composers" will grace the stage of Music at Bunker Hill in Sewell on March 17th. In advance of this performance, Jersey Arts spoke with violinist Claire Chan, a member of their String Quartet.

Thursday, March 14 - Zach Bryan's The Quittin Time Tour Comes to Prudential Center. (NEWARK, NJ) -- Oklahoma singer-songwriter Zach Bryan has announced a 2024 North American run, The Quittin Time Tour. The announcement came days after the singer-songwriter-producer released his fourth full-length studio album, Zach Bryan, available via Warner Records. The tour has two dates planned for the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on March 14-15, 2024. Bryan will be supported by The Middle East and Levi Turner for those shows.

Thursday, March 14 - New Jersey Symphony Presents Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony. (NEWARK, NJ) -- The New Jersey Symphony will present Tchaikovsky's beloved Fifth Symphony, conducted by Xian Zhang, in three March performances, Thursday, March 14, 2024 at New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark (1:30pm); Friday, March 15, 2024 at Richardson Auditorium in Princeton (8:00pm); and Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown (3:00pm).

Thursday, March 14 - Black Box Studios presents Aryeh Kunstler Ft. Gelf and Mordy Weinstein at Debonair Music Hall. (TEANECK, NJ) -- Black Box Studios presents Aryeh Kunstler Ft. Gelf and Mordy Weinstein on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Debonair Music Hall. Doors open at 7:00pm, showtime is 8:00pm for this special evening, with general admission table seating on a first come, first served basis. New York-based music artist Aryeh Kunstler has been involved in every area of Jewish music.

Thursday, March 14 - Centenary Stage Company presents Tartan Terrors. (HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company's concert series enters the spring season with a concert performance from the Tartan Terrors on March 23, 2024 at 7:30pm in the Sitnik Theatre. The band has created their own blend of musical stylings mixing traditional Celtic folklore, dance, and humor all with a twist of Rock and Roll. Songs feature classic bagpipes and fiddle, driving drum tones, and signature guitar styles.

Friday, March 15 - NJPAC presents Nickel Creek. (NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents platinum-selling, internationally renowned roots trio of mandolinist Chris Thile, violinist Sara Watkins and guitarist Sean Watkins known as Nickel Creek to Newark on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 8:00pm.

Friday, March 15 - Scottish Rite Auditorium presents Boney James. ​​​​​​​(COLLINGSWOOD, NJ) -- The Scottish Rite Auditorium presents jazz/R&B sax player Boney James on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 8:00pm. Tickets range from $40-$90.

Friday, March 15 - Black Box Studios and The Elated System presents Doom Dogs featuring Reeves Gabrels at Debonair Music Hall. (TEANECK, NJ) -- Black Box Studios and The Elated System presents Doom Dogs, with opener Reg Bloor, on Friday, March 15th, 2024, 8:00pm at Debonair Music Hall. Doom Dogs is an improvisational trio featuring Reeves Gabrels on guitars, Jonathan Kane on drums, and Jair-Rohm Parker Wells on basses. With a collective background that includes collaborations with David Bowie, The Cure, Swans, and more, Doom Dogs create mesmerizing original music that blends and transcends musical genres.

Friday, March 15 - The Princeton Folk Music Society presents Ruth Wyand. (PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Princeton Folk Music Society presents multi-faceted singer and guitarist Ruth Wyand at Christ Congregation Church on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 8:00pm. Being diversified is Ruth Wyand's specialty. Demonstrating guitar virtuosity with powerful fingerpicking, bottleneck slide and a warm alto voice Ruth plays a mix of Americana, jazz, blues, folk, and country, with a portion of Piedmont picking and bluegrass clawhammer thrown in.

Saturday, March 16 - Prudential Center presents Bryan Adams. (NEWARK, NJ) -- Famed musician and singer-songwriter Bryan Adams announced the extension of his highly successful So Happy It Hurts Tour with 31 dates slated for 2024. Produced by Live Nation, the upcoming run includes a stop at Prudential Center in Newark on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Special guest Dave Stewart’s Eurythmics Songbook will also appear.

Saturday, March 16 - Plainfield Symphony presents "Just Strings". (PLAINFIELD, NJ) -- The Plainfield Symphony Orchestra presents "Just Strings" on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church. Maestro Charles Prince will lead the talented PSO string ensemble in a rich and varied representation of strings-only orchestral literature. Showtime is 7:00pm.

Saturday, March 16 - The New Jersey Youth Chorus Presents Songs of Our Childhood. (WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- Three ensembles from the New Jersey Youth Chorus will present Songs from Our Childhood on Saturday, March 16 at 3:00 p.m. at the JCC MetroWest located at 760 Northfield Avenue in West Orange. Tickets are $20/Adults and $15/Students and Seniors, available at NJYC.org.

Sunday, March 17 - The Newton Theatre presents Samantha Fish. (NEWTON, NJ) -- The Newton Theatre presents Samantha Fish on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 7:00pm. Samantha Fish is known first and foremost for her fretwork, Fish's secret weapon is her astute and nuanced storytelling and ultra-vivid detail from carefully honing her craft.

Sunday, March 17 - Music at Bunker Hill presents 100 Years of Women Composers. (SEWELL, NJ) -- On Sunday, March 17, 2024, Music at Bunker Hill presents a concert of music by Women Composers from Florence Price to living composers Valerie Coleman, Rhiannon Giddens, Lena Frank, Caroline Shaw and Tania León. Audience members can enjoy music from the Romantic era, the African diaspora, Afro-Cuban traditions, and recent Pulitzer Prize winners. This concert marks the second appearance of the Harlem Chamber Players on this South Jersey stage.

Sunday, March 17 - RVCC Sets Concert Featuring Pianist Miryana Moteva, Violinist David Brubaker. (BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- Raritan Valley Community College's Arts & Design department will present a concert featuring violinist David Brubaker and pianist Miryana Moteva, March 17, 2024 at 2:00pm. The event, part of the MOZAIKA Concert Series' current season, will be held in the Welpe Theatre at the College’s Branchburg campus. The performance will feature music by Mozart, Schubert, Migo, and Leviev.

Sunday, March 17 - Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey hosts Ukrainian-American pianist Marina Lomazov in concert. (VOORHEES, NJ) -- The Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey hosts Ukrainian-American pianist Marina Lomazov in concert Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees, NJ. in a performance that celebrates the centennial of George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" and reflects the musical heritage and influences of Ukraine. Showtime is 3:00pm.

NJRep presents the World Premiere of "ESSPY". (LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- New Jersey Repertory Company (NJRep) will kick off its 27th season with the world premiere of Nandia Shenoy's ESSPY, directed by Peter J. Kuo, beginning February 22, with its opening night on February 24 and running through March 17, 2024. ESSPY is a comic-drama about a young medical student embarking on a journey he never expected.

Chatham Players presents "The Beauty Queen of Leenane". (CHATHAM, NJ) -- The Chatham Community Players presents the gloriously funny; wickedly amusing play, The Beauty Queen of Leenane by Martin McDonagh from March 1-16, 2024 at The Chatham Playhouse. Set in the mountains of Connemara, County Galway, this play tells the darkly comic tale of Maureen Folan, a plain and lonely woman in her early forties, and Mag, her manipulative aging mother, whose interference in Maureen’s first and possibly final chance of a loving relationship sets in motion a train of events that leads inexorably towards the play’s terrifying dénouement.

Regional Premiere of "Rabbit Summer" at Mile Square Theatre. (HOBOKEN, NJ) -- Mile Square Theatre proudly announces the regional premiere of Rabbit Summer, a play written and directed by multi-hyphenate performer, playwright and director, Tracey Conyer Lee. This production marks a historic moment as the first time the playwright will direct her own work. Starring Steven St. Pierre as Wilson, Tsebiyah Mishael Derry as Claire, and Ricky Lyne'e as Ruby, Rabbit Summer is a thought-provoking and emotionally charged production. Performances run from March 6-30, 2024.

Tony Award-Nominee Kate Baldwin to star in American Theater Group's "A Little Night Music". (BASKING RIDGE, NJ) -- Broadway's Kate Baldwin will star as Desiree in American Theater Group's (ATG) upcoming season premiere of Stephen Sondheim's beloved A Little Night Music. The production will run March 7-10, 2024 at the Sieminski Theater in Basking Ridge and March 14-24, 2024 at Hamilton Stage in Rahway. Baldwin will share the stage with her husband Graham Rowat (Broadway: Dear Evan Hanson, Sunset Boulevard) as Fredrik.

Bergen County Players presents "The Fantasticks". (ORADELL, NJ) -- Bergen County Players (BCP), one of America's longest-running little theater companies, continues its 92nd season with the longest-running musical classic, The Fantasticks. Full of buoyant humor, charming tunes, and a sprinkle of magic, The Fantasticks has been hailed as "a beautiful, poetic, and highly theatrical tale of the power and depth of love — gained, lost and found again" (Broadway World). Performances run March 9 through April 6, 2024.

Playhouse 22 presents "Check Please". (EAST BRUNSWICK) -- Check Please, a play by Jonathan Rand, opens at Playhouse 22 on Saturday, March 9. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00pm with Sunday matinees at 2:00pm through March 17. Check Please follows a series of blind dinner dates that couldn't get any worse -- until they do.

Classic American Tales to hold acting workshop at End of the Road Theater. (NORTH CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Ever wanted to pursue your passion for theater? Hold a script in your hands? Classic American Tales (CAT) is offering an acting workshop for ages 17 on up, and all levels of experience are welcomed. The location is End of the Road Theater (3845 Bayshore Road) in North Cape May on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Ribbon Cutting for Martinson Stage at Music Mountain Theatre. (LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- The stage at Music Mountain Theatre (MMT), located in Lambertville, is about to have a new name! In celebration of the one-year anniversary of a generous donation from John H. Martinson, venture capitalist and philanthropist, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at the theatre on Thursday, March 14th at 6:00pm to announce the official naming of the Martinson Stage at Music Mountain Theatre.

American Theater Group Presents "A Little Night Music" Post-Performance Talk Back. (RAHWAY, NJ) -- American Theater Group, a professional theater company in Central New Jersey, will present a talk back session following the Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 7:00pm performance of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music at Hamilton Stage in Rahway. Members of the cast and creative team will participate in the Q & A session, and all are welcome to attend. (WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Theater To Go continues its salute to New Jersey playwrights at Mercer County Community College’s (MCCC) Kelsey Theatre with the musical comedy "I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change," penned by Bergen County native Joe DiPietro, March 15-24.
