(HOPEWELL, NJ) -- Early bird registration fee for the Sourland Spectacular cycling event is ending soon! The early bird registration fee of $50 ends on Thursday, August 17th. The regular adult registration is $65. So don’t delay and register today!

The cycling event at the Watershed Institute on September 9th will feature both staggered starts and lunches. Riders may begin when they would like between 7:00am–10:00 am in order to complete their route in time for lunch. Pre-event coffee and breakfast will be followed by lunches served from 11:00am until 2:00pm. The lunch will, of course, be capped by their famous ice cream sundaes. Riders will surely have earned it!

The ticket package includes rest stops, two meals, a gourmet ice cream sundae, Support And Gear, and swag. No bike? No problem!  Rentals are available through Unlimited Biking.

The Sourland Conservancy hopes you will join this year—cycling through the gorgeous forest and farmland of the historic Sourlands, for a challenging yet rewarding ride.

Proceeds from the event will help support their tremendous forest restoration effort, now underway. Over the last three years, the Sourland Conservancy has planted over 29,000 trees and shrubs and hopes to plant 12,000 trees and shrubs this year!

When posting, please be sure to include the hashtag #sourlandspectacular2023.

Proceeds will support the work of the Sourland Conservancy.

The mission of the Sourland Conservancy is to protect, promote and preserve the unique character of the Sourland Mountain region. The 90-square-mile Sourland region is home to the largest contiguous forest in Central New Jersey. It encompasses a complex ecosystem of forest, wetlands and grasslands, and is home to an incredibly rich diversity of animal and plant species, many rare or endangered. The forest is especially important as a breeding area for migratory songbirds, particularly those who nest only in large wooded areas.
