Colombian-American Artist, Diego Allessandro, to Release Three New Singles

(MORGANVILLE, NJ) -- Diego Allessandro, the former front man of the two-time Asbury Music Award Top Americana Band nominee Lot 25,  announced on Instagram the release of three new cover singles. They are part of series that began in 2023 with "2023 Seasons" featuring a new single every season last year. This year "Seasons Part II: Falling For You" will feature a new, different, cover song released in sequence September, October and November 2024.

“It was fun doing covers for the first time last year,” Allessandro stated. “Last year I put out two original singles and two covers but I think going forward I’m gonna just do cover singles. I chose these songs because I just like them and the themes of love, passion and moments bleed through each song. I chose cover art that spoke to what I find in each song. It’s a celebration of love and a statement on what love and relationships should be. There’s so much out there on social media that’s negative about relationships and people are lonely. It’s time to heal and relearn what’s beautiful about love. At least I want to, being 40, I’m ready for the next chapters and excited about what comes next. I hope people pay a little closer attention to me and my work cause it’s gonna get fun and interesting and I’m so excited to share it with the world and the great state of New Jersey.” Further release announcements and comments will come via Allessandro’s social media @DiegoMusicNJ on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

SEASONS PART II: FALLING FOR YOU

“Inside Out” coming September 27, 2024 - Originally done by The Might Lemon Drops on their 1988 Top 40 (U.K.) album World Without End. As a single it reached #74 in the U.K. but American audiences might better recognize it as the song that played in the final moments of the series finale to the original production of the popular TV show Gilmore Girls 2000-2007. The song was written by David Newton and Tony Linehan of The Mighty Lemon Drops and produced by Tim Palmer. Allessandro’s cover is self-produced featuring Allessandro on all instruments and vocals. It was recorded, mixed and mastered at El Sueño Studios in Old Bridge, New Jersey.

“She” coming October 25, 2024 - Originally done by the legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band Green Day in 1994, the song was released on the breakthrough Dookie which sold over ten million copies by the end of the 90s and used a promotional single. It has since gone on to be one of the most recognizable songs in the bands catalog. The song was written by Billie Joe Armstrong, credited to Green Day with Armstrong as lyricist and produced by Green Day and Rob Cavallo. Allessandro’s synthy ballad cover is self-produced featuring Allessandro on all instruments and vocals. It was recorded, mixed and mastered at El Sueño Studios in Old Bridge, New Jersey.

“Hanging By A Moment” coming November 29, 2024 - Originally done Lifehouse, their breakthrough smash hit single reaching number 2 from 2000’s debut album No Name Face. The song would go on to reach number one again in 2001. The song was written by lead singer Jason Wade, produced by Ron Aniello and mixed by Brendan O’Brien. Allessandro’s anthemic cover is self-produced featuring Allessandro on most instruments and vocals and former Lot 25 bassist Reid Weinman on bass. It was recorded, mixed and mastered at El Sueño Studios in Old Bridge, New Jersey.

Born in 1984 in Bogota, Colombia, Diego Allessandro’s trademark sound blending Americana with 60s, 80s and 90s pop has earned him two nominations in the Asbury Music Awards Top Americana Band category with his former group, Lot 25. Allessandro has sold hundreds of CDs across the state and northeast, been heard by thousands all over the world across streaming platforms and through digital sales. Whether you’re on the floor showcasing your best moves or at the bar just listening, Diego Allessandro pairs his best songs with fun, electrifying covers that create an explosive, lively, and dynamic atmosphere for all. It’s no secret why LeicesterBangs.BlogSpot.com raves “…[Allessandro] stamps his own identity on his chosen genre with a series of strong songs, which ooze blue collar imagery, and come fully loaded with hooks aplenty.” Diego Allessandro is a powerful voice in Americana music articulating both the American Millennial and immigrant experiences. Since 20213, Allessandro has been the President of El Sueño Studios LLC working as an audio engineer for both studio and stage across New Jersey with bands like High In the Mid 80s, Vinyl Madness, Upside and many, many more.
