CDC Theatre presents "In The Heights"

(CRANFORD, NJ) -- CDC Theatre presents "In The Heights" by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Fridays and Saturdays, May 5-20 at CDC Theatre in Cranford, NJ. ​​In the vibrant New York City neighborhood of Washington Heights, bodega owner Usnavi and his friends dream, hope and work for a bright future.

"In The Heights" features a Music and Lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda; Book by Quiara Alegría Hudes; and was conceived by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The cast includes Usnavi De La Vega  -  Gerson Checo; Nina Rosario  -  Gail Cevallos; Abuela Claudia  -  Karina Munoz; Benny  -  Jordan Owens; Vanessa Morales  -  Carly DelValle; Sonny -   Kori Caicedo; Kevin Rosario  -  Jose Figueroa; Camila Rosario  -  Dania Davie; Daniela  -  Sabrina Acosta; Carla  -  Sam Estrella; Graffiti Pete  -  David Rivera; and Piraguero  -  Gabriel Angel Valle.

The Ensemble includes: Roxie Billups, Ashley Figueredo, Abigail Armstead, Kristin Aguero, Cenera Moore, Karen Carratura, Lori Travers, Carla Breton, Tyzhe Boyd, Alex Ocho, Jonathan Guy, Hector Martinez, Nathaniel Tapia, and Scarlett Davie.

Performances take place Fridays and Saturdays, May 5-20 at 8:00pm with matinee performances on Sunday, May 14 and Saturday, May 20 at 2:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. CDC Theatre is located at at 78 Winans Avenue in Cranford, New Jersey.

The Cranford Dramatic Club (CDC Theatre) is a non profit all volunteer organization whose purpose is to: Produce and present plays of merit; develop, by discussion and active participation, the talents of members in all phases of dramatic work, e.g., directing, acting, staging, etc.; and stimulate community interest in amateur theater.
