(CRANFORD, NJ) -- Get tickets now for a one weekend only special production of the musical A Bronx Tale from June 17-19 at CDC Theatre in Cranford. The play is a story about respect, loyalty, love, and above all else: family. Based on the critically acclaimed play that inspired the now classic film, this streetwise musical will take you to the stoops of the Bronx in the 1960s with all the pop styles of the time: Doo-wop, Frank Sinatra-style ballads, R&B and Motown.
The play features a book by Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, music by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award winner Alan Menken, and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Oscar and Tony Award nominee Glenn Slater. The production is produced by Joe Leo; directed by Sean Lough, and features choreography by Daraius Phillips; and music direction by Dan Wells. Dana Dispoto is the stage manager. Mark Reilly is the lighting director. And Liz Howard is in charge of costumes.
