(PITMAN, NJ) -- On Friday, February 10, 2023, Bill Haley, Jr. and the Comets come to the Broadway Theatre of Pitman. They are a high-energy five-piece combo performing a rousing, crowd pleasing set of songs first recorded at the dawn of rock ‘n’ roll by the legendary Bill Haley and the Comets, and other popular tunes from the 1950s and ’60s. Showtime is 8:00pm.
Emphasizing authenticity in sound and presentation, this “Rock ‘N’ Roll History Show” features Bill Haley, Jr. sharing the inside stories and historical context behind the songs he sings backed by his talented band of comets — saxophonist extraordinaire Kaj Hansen; nimble-fingered Mike Denaro on electric guitar; Christopher Davis Shannon slapping the upright bass; and Rich Flamini’s energetic Gene Krupa-style drumming.
Be prepared to jump, jive, dance, clap, stomp your feet and sing along as Haley and his Comets rock the joint!
Tickets are $30 and available for purchase online.
